N Panaro, Your prospects are looking better. There is a new Target superstore currently under construction at the corner of Sorrento and Blue Angel directly across from Walmart. This is no doubt a sign of good things to come for the area. It is also my understanding that the widening of sorrento to 4 lanes all the way to the bridge has been approved and will begin soon.
Also, in the current market, commercial property is doing much better than residential. (I believe that will change soon too, but that is another story.)

I know the economy for the Perdido Key area has been in sad shape for at least 2-3 years. I own 710′ of highway frontage (6+ acres) on Sorrento Rd., very near Blue Angel Pkwy. Would you dare speculate the prognosis for that area for the next few years? I’d appreciate your opinion.
